It is defined as an adolescent period by the World Health Organization between 10-19 years of age when biological, psychological and social changes are seen in the individual, and pregnancies formed in this period as adolescent pregnancy. Adolescent pregnancies, which constitute a significant percentage of maternal deaths, are important in terms of reproductive health. Adolescent pregnancy is a subject that needs to be examined with ethical, social and moral dimensions beyond medicine. There are many ethical issues that prevention of adolescent pregnancies, pregnancy process, delivery and postnatal care, need to be analysis by midwifery. In this article, the ethical problems related to adolescent pregnancies are discussed in the direction of ethics principles of midwifery and solution proposals are presented.
