Objective: The aim of the present study was to adapt the Nurse-Nurse Collaboration (NNC) Scale to Turkish examining the reliability and validity of the scale among the staff nurses.

Methods: The study was conducted with 352 volunteer staff nurses working in Usak Public Hospital. In the first instance language equivalence was analyzed, and then exploratory factor analysis, the internal consistency, confirmatory factor analysis and test-retest were employed.

Results: The adapted Turkish Form of the NNC Scale consisted of 25 items. As a results of the explanatory factor analysis and content validity analysis, it was observed that items divided into 5 factors in accordance with the original scale and that loads of all factors were above 0.30. The overall Cronbach alfa for the scale was 0.90 and for the individual subscales were ranging from 0.62-0.90. According to the fit index of confirmatory factor analysis and test-retest scores of the NNC Scale, it can be said that the scale is reliable.

Conclusion: The adapted Turkish form of the NNC Scale is a valid and reliable scale for measuring the level of NNC in staff nurses.
